What's been happening

It's been a busy few weeks with the Neck Point Scouting Group, as the weather has improved each section has been busy with regular meetings, group activities and camps. There are a few brief articles below recapping some of the highlights and more on the website.

Wild Dogs take the Golden Axe

Welcome to the February Bulletin for the Neck Point Scouting Group. The sections have been really busy over the last few weeks and we have lots more to share with our Scouting youth and their families. Celebrating the Birthday of Robert Baden Powell

The New Year brings a great fundraising opportunity for Scouts Canada. We need your help to make the most of it.

National Bank is dedicated to contributing to the social well-being of the communities it serves, especially by assisting organizations that support young people. In 2011 alone, National Bank donated $8.2 million to organizations that they support.

Annual Tree Mulch and Bottle Drive

Our thanks to all youth, their parents and volunteers for the outstanding effort in the 1st Neck Point Scouting Group Annual Christmas Tree Mulch and Bottle Drive.  In total we raised $4,459 that will go towards subsidizing the many camps and activities of the group throughout the year. Fundraising is an important part of scouting and helps the group to continue with activities that may otherwise be too expensive to consider. Read More >
