January Bulletin - Cubs Section

Annual Tree Mulch and Bottle Drive

Our thanks to all youth, their parents and volunteers for the outstanding effort in the 1st Neck Point Scouting Group Annual Christmas Tree Mulch and Bottle Drive.  In total we raised $4,459 that will go towards subsidizing the many camps and activities of the group throughout the year. Fundraising is an important part of scouting and helps the group to continue with activities that may otherwise be too expensive to consider. Read More >

The cub winter camp will be held in Elkhaven on Denman Island, January 25th - 27th. There will be a weekend of activities, including the popular Kub Kars, which the cubs will build, decorate and then race against other cub sections in our Annual Kub Kar Rally later in the year. We are expecting costs for this camp to be $35 to include transportation, ferry, accommodation and meals (this is heavily subsidized from our fundraising). if you would like to attend, please let your section leaders know so we can get numbers, or sign up with Scoutstracker.
